Top cat would have loved this tip-top cava that comes from one of Spain's leading cava producers. It's as elegant and flavoursome as many a champagne whilst being a teeny bit less dry and much better value!.
Some cavas are more than capable of giving some of the significantly pricier champagnes a run for their money and this is one such example. Fine, persistent mousse and a yeasty, grapefruit palate with a good, long finish. This very fine example is a blend of chardonnay and the indigenous parellada.
