Pure, unadulterated apricot fruits in this delectable sweet wine that retains its freshness with perfectly integrated acidity. Wonderful as an aperitif or with fruit puddings. Or just pour a glass and dunk in a biscotti or three!
The grapes for this wine are harvested at the same time as those that are being made into dry wines. The sweetness is achieved by leaving the grapes to dry on nets over the winter. The amount of liquid that can be squeezed from the grapes is tiny (which accounts for the price of sweet wines such as this!), but the delicious apricot-charged nectar makes all the effort worthwhile. Magical!
