A wine with wow! An intense blend of carignan, tempranillo and syrah. Lush, velvety black fruits from start to finish. Heavenly!
‘…It’s a stunner. The blend is a mix of Spanish and international varieties, which sees tempranillo and cariñena jostling with merlot, cabernet sauvignon and syrah for attention. A short time in oak (mostly new French) has slightly tempered its youthful fire, but it still erupts out of the bottle in boisterous fashion, sporting sweet berry fruit and toasty oak. With time in the glass, these actually calm down and a more subtle, aromatic herb and balsamic side emerges.’ (2005 vintage) Simon Woods, Wine International, February 2007
