Sumptuous fortified wine, with rich amber colour and a palate of hazelnuts, almond, apricot and raisins.
Very clean and intense aromas of dried fruits. The palate is dry with hazelnut, almond, apricots and raisins to the end of the very long finish. This wine is aged for a year in stone vats and then transferred into half-filled oak butts. Because of the exposure to air a flor develops on the top of the wine, giving the final product the rich, nutty flavour associated with sherry.
